【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheminimumperformanceandmaterialrequirementsforresilientconnectorsusedforconnectionsbetweenreinforcedconcretetanksusedforsepticeffluenttreatment/detention,includingthosereferencedinSpecificationsC913andC1227.1.1.1Theseconnectorsaredesignedtoeliminateleakagebetweenthepipe(s)andtank.1.2AcompletemetriccompaniontoSpecificationC1644hasbeendeveloped-C1644M;therefore,nometricequivalentsarepresentedinthisspecification.Note1Thisspecificationcoversthedesign,material,andperformanceoftheresilientconnectiononly.Connectionscoveredbythisspecificationareadequateforhydrostaticpressuresupto5psi(11.5ft)withoutleakagewhentestedinaccordancewithSection7.Infiltrationorexfiltrationquantitiesforaninstalledsystemaredependentuponmanyfactorsotherthantheconnectorsbetweentanksandpipes,andallowablequantitiesmustbecoveredbyotherspecificationsandsuitabletestingoftheinstalledpipeandsystem.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section7,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
